Lauren Bostic, the artist behind Bosco Metalworks, attended the Memphis College of Art and graduated with a BFA in Illustration in 2017. While at MCA, Bostic fell in love with metal as a medium and began blacksmithing in the spring of 2017, and has been working with steel ever since.
Art pieces range from small jewelry to large-scale sculptures and banisters. These pieces draw inspiration from the art nouveau and art deco styles of design, and frequently depict native wildlife, plants, and insects.
